FAIRFAX, CALIF. - Through two rounds at the MacKenzie Invitational, USF freshman EJ Kahn sits three under par and is tied for 22nd. Kahn set a career-best, shooting a 69 the second time around the Meadow Club course.

Kahn collected nine birdies on the day in leading the Dons, who had a first day finish of 13th. The team totaled 570 strokes (282 - 288), four over par.

Junior Kurt Nino finished on par and one over 72 in his two rounds and sophomore Conor McElyea had scores of 69 and 74 to tie for the second best USF total on the day. Nino and McElyea currently stand tied for 49th with 143 strokes. Senior Kenny Adams completed day one in 61st (72 - 73) and sophomore Chris Cunningham was 76th (75 - 74).

The team standings have Washington on top, shooting 27 under par as a team (273 -268). Louisville and UC Davis stand tied for second with 548 strokes (-14, 278 - 270). Oregon State is fourth with a score of 549 (276 - 273) and California and Fresno State are fifth with 551.

Individually, Louisville's Daryl Fathauer is first with a score of 128, 14 under par.

The final round of the MacKenzie Invitational begins Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
