(Kauai, HI) - USF men's golf shot a three-under 285 in round two of the 2008 Kauai Collegiate Invite, hosted by the University of Hawaii Tuesday at the Puakea Golf Course. The Dons enter Wednesday's final round at three under 573 (288, 285), four shots behind Utah (294, 275) and UNC-Wilmington (289, 280) at 569. Junior Domingo Jojola led the charge for the dons with a four-under 68 and shares fifth place on the leader board at seven-under 137 (69, 68), three shots behind San Jose State's Jay Myers who shot a dominating eight-under 64 on Tuesday. Senior Hawaii native Kurt Nino sits in a share of 21st place at one-under 143 (72, 71). Please note the course is incorrectly marked as a par-71 course in the stats released by GolfStat included at the top of the page and as reported yesterday. In reality, the 6, 954 yard course is playing at par-72 and the numbers in the recap reflect this. West Coast Conference rival San Diego leads the event at 15-under at 553 (286, 267) after a phenomenal second round, while Drake sits nine shots back in second at six-under 562 (284, 278).
