USF In 20th After Day One At Turtle Bay

TURTLE BAY, HAWAII - The San Francisco men's golf team stands in 20th place after day one at the Turtle Bay Invitational which was held Monday. Sitting tied for 31st, sophomore Chris Cunningham was the top individual Don.

As a team, USF totaled a score of 288, even with par. Tennessee leads after the first day with a score of 264, 24 strokes under.

Cunningham put together round scores of 38 and 31 (69), three under par. Tennessee's Robin Wingardh leads all golfers having collected scores of 33 and 30, nine under par.

Day two of the Turtle Bay Invitational starts Tuesday at 7:20 a.m. HT.
