Men's Golf Places Third in Opening Event
Paced by a third place finish by Ryan Wilson, the USF men's golf team placed third of 12 teams in the Rocky Mountain Men's Intercollegiates at the Jacob Golf Club in Laramie Wyoming.
USF shot a 285-281-288=859 in the event and finished 11 strokes behind champion and tournament champion Wyoming. Wilson paced USF with 66-70-73=209, just two strokes behind medalist Jarod Topmiller of Western Kentucky. Matt Larson shot 213 (T6), Fernando Gomez 219 (T14), Chad Thompson 220 (T18), and Kristofer Baptist 224 (T36).
