BOLTON, MASS. - The University of San Francisco men's golf team finished ninth at the 2007 Hartford Hawks Invitational, which wrapped up Saturday at The International Golf Course. Sophomores Connor McElyea and Chris Cunningham paced the Dons as each had a three round combined score of 231 to tie for 33rd-place overall.

McElyea's had round scores of 76, 76 and 79, while Cunningham went 75, 80 and 76. Coming up behind McElyea and Cunningham were senior Kenny Adams, who tied for 41st with a score of 232 (79 - 80 - 73), 43rd place finisher freshman EJ Kahn (78 - 73 - 82) and junior Kurt Nino, who tied for 44th with a score of 234 (77 - 83 - 74).

USF's team score was 917 (306 - 309 - 302).

Old Dominion University took first in the tournament with a score of 872 (288 - 290 -294). Individually, St. John's Keegan Bradley topped the field, shooting a three-round total of 212 (68 - 73 -71).

The USF men's golf team is slated to next participate in the Xavier Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 1 and 2.
