Phoenix, Arizona native is becoming known as one of the most talented forwards in the nationand should be a candidate for All-American. 2002: first team all-WCC, he scored 10 goals and recorded five assists as a junior, the most goals among any WCC player returning in 2003...also returning league leader in points per game with 1.56...co-winner of Joe Allen Award as team MVP...had three multiple goal games including a hat-trick in USF's WCC opener vs. St. Mary's...also scored two goals vs. Dominican and two vs. Harvard...two of his five goals were on USF game-winners...shared WCC "Player of the Week" honors with Gabe Sturm on October 7...WCC all-academic. 2001: scored six goals and added team high four assists last season in 16 games...led the team in game winning goals with three...included were the gamewinners against San Jose State, Stanislaus State and San Francisco State...he scored two goals in all three of those contests...appeared in 16 contests, starting 13 times. 2000: led all newcomers with three goals in his freshman season... also paced the team with two game-winning goals ...scored the second goal in win over Cal Poly in 3-1 diadora victory and scored a header to give USF a 2-1 win over LMUin WCC opener...one of the most memorable moments came when he scored the opening goal of St. Mary's game and showed a tribute to the retiring Negoesco on his undershirt. Was an all-state selection at Glendale (Ariz.) HS...an excellent student, Josh ranked in the 10% of his HS class.
