SAN DIEGO - Little came to fruition offensively Sunday afternoon as San Francisco (5-6-1, 1-3-1 WCC) and San Diego (6-6-1, 3-1-1 WCC) played to a 0-0 tie. Junior Ben Dessard, playing in his first match of the season, led all players with three shots. The Toreros topped the Dons by a meager margin in total shots attempts, out-shooting USF 7-6. Behind Dessard, San Diego's Dustin Guerrero and Chase Tangney each had two shots. USF senior Chris Rodd and sophomore Conor Chinn had shots on goal but were unable to connect. San Diego's Kelin Briones and USF junior Eric Conner were only forced to make a total of three saves. USF will next turn to preparing for next Friday's home match versus Saint Mary's. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. PT from Negoesco Field.
