Final Stats

(Portland, OR) - USF men's soccer did not finish strong the way they wanted. After posting a convincing 2-1 victory Friday at Gonzaga, the Dons suffered a 5-0 shutout at Portland in the regular season finale for both teams.

San Francisco (7-10-2, 4-7-1 WCC) managed 13 shots, but the Pilots (10-5-5, 4-4-4 WCC) were more accurate with their 16 in salvaging a season split in the season series between the two teams and kept NCAA Tournament hopes alive in the Rose City.

Senior All-American Conor Chinn recorded a team-high five shots, while Victor Wennberg added three and Justin Warren tallied a pair. Each had one shot on target for the Dons. Of Portland's 16 shots, nine were on target.

USF trailed 1-0 at the half, but the floodgates opened after the intermission. Portland registered scoring strikes in the 54th, 61st, 87th and 89th minute. All told, five Pilots scored and four scored a goal and added an assist.
