Peter Bartlett enters his 12th season as head coach of the University of San Francisco Men's Tennis team. Bartlett is responsible for the revitalization of the program from being the last place team in the WCC conference to a top performing conference team as well as a nationally ranked contender. He has developed several nationally ranked singles and doubles players in the process. In 2003 was named the Conference Coach of the Year for the West Coast Conference. Bartlett brings a wealth of tennis experience . He has been involved in running junior tennis camps and programs for the YTA, Alpine Hills swim and tennis club as well as Golden Gateway tennis and swim club. In conjunction to being Head coach at USF, for the last ten years Peter was the Assistant Head professional at the Olympic Club. He was responsible for all facets of club operations as well as being responsible for junior development and directing the junior tennis camps. He was also co-director of the USTA (CTC) competitive training centers run at The Olympic Club. Bartlett is United States Professional Association (USPTA) certified. Bartlett played for the University of Oregon and received a Masters Degree in Sports Management from the University of San Francisco. In 2003 and 2006 Bartlett has coached the Dons to a top 3 in the WCC Conference. In Spring of 2007 Bartlett's Dons achieved their first ever National Ranking at #73. Bartlett has also been the Director of the USF Summer Junior Tennis Camps and has been in charge of the USF Junior Dons Tennis Academy. |
