The University of San Francisco men's tennis team took their first victory of the season by defeating Northern Arizona 6-1 at the University of New Mexico's courts in Albuquerque.

Joachim Lien starting things off at the number one position by easily defeating Jeremy Coll 6-3, 6-3. At number two slot, Pablo Pires de Almeida swept Thibault Schram 6-2 6-2 as the Dons took control. Mason Fuller won in three sets at number four and Jon Lippert and Axel Elvik each swept their singles matches. Jorgen Arneson lost a tough three set match at #3.

The Dons took the doubles points as well with Lien/Fuller and Pire de Almeida/Arneson both recording wins. USF improved to 1-1 on the year.
