USF Beats Portland State To Earn Rose City Split

(Portland) - USF dominated host Portland State 6-1 in men's tennis action at the PSU Invitational at the Eastmoreland Racquet Club. The only loss for the Dons (2-2) came when Pablo DeAlmeida was forced to retire with injury with the score tied at 4-4 in the opening set. With the win San Francisco earned a split against Rose City schools after dropping a 5-2 decision against West Coast Conference rival Portland in the Portland State Tournament.
