MORAGA, CALIF - The University of San Francisco men's tennis team lost Monday evening to conference opponent St. Marys in Moraga.

The Dons lost a tough fought match, 5-2. The Dons played well in the doubles winning all three doubles matches to take the doubles point and put the Dons up 1-0.

The Gaels, however fought back, winning at No. 2 and 3 to take the score to 2-1. Senior Falko Huettenberger continued his strong play winning a tight three set match at the No. 5 spot to even it at 2-2. Mitch Del Rosario at No. 6 could not pull through as well as No. 3 Einar Hart to end the dual match 4-2. Junior Tommy Tu lost a hard fought match at No. 1, 7-6, in the third set to finalize the dual match score 5-2.

The Dons 4-2 on the season next face UC Davis on Sunday March 16 at 1p.m. in Davis,Calif.
