IRVINE, CALIF. - After an opening doubles win by USF's Falko Huettenberger and Asaf Cohen, No. 63 UC Irvine won the final eight matches to top San Francisco 7-0 Sunday afternoon at the Anteater Tennis Complex.

Huettenberger and Cohen topped Alex Sundling and Khunpol Issara, 8-6 coming off a one hour rain delay to the dual start. UC Irvine's Victor Lamm and Ajay Ahluwalia defeated Thong Tu and Rainer Nachbauer 8-2 in No. 2 doubles and Douglas Taylor and Trevor Dobson won a 9-8 decision over Torin Ching and Mitch Del Rosario in the No. 3 match to secure the doubles point.

Tu and Cohen stretched their No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches against Lamm and Sundling to three sets after losing opening sets by scores of 6-4 and 6-2, taking set two 6-4 and 6-3, respectively. Lamm and Sundling shut the duo out of possible victory with third sets of 7-5 and 6-3.
