Dons Blank Creighton In Men's Tennis, 7-0

The USF men's tennis team won their second match in consecutive days rolling to a 7-0 victory over Creighton, without losing a set. The Dons' netters improved to 11-5 on the season and take their racquets to Las Vegas where they'll play in the Rebels' tournament starting Friday. The Dons took the doubles point with Joachim Lien and Mason Fuller winning 8-2, Jorgen Arneson and Pablo Pires de Almeida winning 8-1, and Axel Elvik and Romain Van Rillus winning 8-4. USF continued to roll with Arneson defeating Creighton's Keith Otto at #1 6-2, 6-3; Sean Dizon beating Tom McCarthy 7-6 (8), 6-1, and Romain Van Rillus stopping Vince Meena 6-2, 6-2. The Dons won also at 4-5-6, with Jon Lippert topping Richard Gonzales 7-6 (5), 6-3, Mason Fuller shutting down Eduardo Pignatari 6-1, 6-3 and Axel Elvik shutting out Evan Kimura 6-0, 6-0.
