Pacific Outlasts USF In Men's Tennis

USF won the doubles points and was ahead in four of the six singles matches after the first set. But Pacific rallied to take a 5-2 decision over USF at the Olympic Club Sunday.

The Dons recorded the doubles point with win by the teams of Elvik/Lippert (8-4) over Otte/Black and Arneson/Pires De Almeida (8-2) over Duong/Kubler.

Joachim Lien won 6-4, 7-6 over Lennart Maack at number one and USF looked to be in good shape as Pablo Pires De Almeida, Jorgen Arneson and Romain Van Rillas all won the first set of their singles matches.

But Pacific got third set victories by Arnar Sigurdsson, Niclas Otte and Vincent Kubler to turn the match around.

The Dons dropped to 14-6, while Pacific improved to 13-5 on the season.
