Matthew Berry and Asaf Cohen again won their singles matches, but it was not enough as Portland defeated USF 5-2 in men's tennis in the consolation bracket of the Boise State Spring Break tournament Friday afternoon.
The team of Thong Tu and Berry took number one singles, but USF's Falko Huettenberger and Cohen lost 9-7 at number three doubles, giving the Pilots the doubles point.
USF's only points came on Berry and Cohen's singles wins. The Dons conclude play in Boise on Saturday.
