Dons Topple UC Davis in Home Finale FOr Men's Tennis

The USF men's tennis team won the doubles points and the took 1-2-3 singles to defeat visiting UC Davis 4-3 Saturday afternoon at sunny Golden Gate Park.
It was the final home game for the Dons (10-9) including senior Pablo Pires de Almeida, who was honored before the match. With USF president Stephen Privett, S.J., Dons' athletic director Bill Hogan, and his parents looking on, Pablos with his partner, Philip Riise Hansen won the first doubles match 8-4. USF also won at number three double to take the doubles point.
Timo Kienle, Riise Hanse and Faalko Huttenberger won at 1-2-3 singles to clinch the win.
