Dons Drop 5-2 Decision To Pacific In Last Match Before WCC Championships

In both teams final matches prior to their league tournaments, the Pacific Tigers men's tennis team topped USF 5-2 in Pebble Beach Sunday.
Pacific started the match off by taking 2-of-3 in the doubles matches to move out to an early 1-0 lead. Junior Arnar Sigurdsson and sophomore Vladimir Zdravkovic defeated the No.1 team of Pablo Pires de Almeida and Philip Riise-Hanssen 8-2. Helping secure the point then was the No.2 doubles team of senior Niclas Otte and junior Jorgen Vestli as they defeated William O'Shea and Andrew Hogan, 8-2. Falko Huettenberger and Timo Kienle won easily for USF at number three.
USF got singles wins from Philip Riise-Hanssen at number two and Andrew Hogan, but got victories from Sigurdsson, Vestli, Zdravkovic, and sophomore Alan Kelly to take the win.
