(Santa Clara) - USF men's tennis swept Loyola Marymount 4-0 in opening round action of the 2008 West Coast Conference Championships Friday afternoon at the Degheri Tennis Center on the Santa Clara campus. The Dons captured the doubles point and posted singles victories at Nos. 1, 3 and 5.

Thong Tu posted a dominating 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles against Jacek Twarowski, while Asaf Cohen downed Sam Tadevosian 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3. Falko Huttenberger dispatched Renzo Maggie6-1, 6-2 at the No. 5 spot.

USF now turns its focus to a Saturday morning showdown against defending champion Pepperdine. First serve against the Waves is set for 1:00 PM.
