The USF men's tennis team rebounded from their loss earlier in the morning and easily dispatched Loyola Marymount 4-2 in the consolation bracket of the WCC Championships Saturday afternoon at the University of San Diego. The Dons started the match by dropping the doubles point despite the number one team of Berry/Huettenberger winning 8-4. USF tied the match quickly as Matt Berry was victorious for the 16th time in his last 18 matches topping Nico Terrien 6-2, 6-2. Rainier Nachbauer won 6-0, 6-4 at number four to put USF ahead, but LMU won the number two singles match to tie it again. The Dons, however, clinched the match when Asaf Cohen won 6-2, 7-6 over Nikola Petrov and Mitch Del Rosario defeated Nick Perez 6-4, 6-7, 6-1 at five and six. USF will play Portland in the consolation championship Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
