Men's Tennis Hosts SMC In Pebble Beach

(San Francisco) - Sunday, the USF men's tennis team will host its annual match at Pebble Beach. This year, the Dons will host West Coast Conference foe Saint Mary's in the event.
San Francisco is looking to continue its strong season and improve on its 7-5 overall record, including a unblemished 2-0 record against WCC foes. Earlier this season, USF met SMC on the courts, taking a 4-3 victory in Moraga.
The Dons will turn to their top singles player, Thai Tu to lead the charge against the Gaels. Tu currently holds a 9-1 singles mark, all at the No. 1 singles slot. Ola Bakke also holds a winner singles record, posting a 6-5 record in singles action, while William Schumacher in 5-4.
In doubles play, Mark DeCastro and Einar Hart pace USF with a 5-2 record.
Saint Mary's heads to Pebble Beach looking to improve on its 3-9 overall record. The Gaels are led by Andrea Zannoni with a 5-7 singles record.
