(San Francisco) - San Francisco's men's tennis team will get a final tune-up prior to the 2009 West Coast Conference Championships Wednesday as the Dons' travel to Palo Alto to face No. 8 Stanford University. The match, which begins at 1:30 p.m., will wrap-up the regular spring season for USF.

The Dons head into the match with the Cardinal, looking to improve on a 7-10 overall record and to extend a three-match win streak. In their last outing, the Dons' seniors stepped up on Senior Day, to provide USF with a 5-2 victory over visiting UC Santa Cruz.

Following the match with Stanford, USF will prepare for the WCC Championships. The championship opens Friday and will continue through Sunday on the campus of the University of San Diego.
