Sept. 22, 2001

(Davis, CA) - USF cross country competed at the 2001 Aggie Cross Country Open, hosted by UC Davis. The Dons harriers turned in a 20th place finish in the team category. T.K. Revane posted the top finish for San Francisco in 66th place with a time of 28:00.6 in the 8,000 meter run. Rudy Castonon followed in 70th with a time of 28:17.5.

On the women's side USF had individuals competing and did not field a team. Laura Danner-Baird turned in a time of 19:54.4 to place 70th, while Marcie Cole came in 20:10.6 to place 80th.

USF Cross Country returns to action when they compete at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Stanford Golf Course.
