One of USF's best defensive stoppers since her arrival on
the Hilltop four years ago has been a fixture in the starting lineup since
her sophomore campaign. She currently ranks ninth on the all-time steals
list with 155 career picks and ninth in the all-time assists charts with
279. So far she has scored 645 points in her Lady Dons career. In 1998 she

Completes her fifth season as a member of the Lady Dons
Basketball Family. A key component of USF's storied run to the 1996 NCAA
Tournament's Sweet 16, she prepares tonight for her 108th career start in
her 115th game on the Hilltop. An 11 point performance at Loyola Marymount
this season propelled her past 1000 career points - the 13th Lady Don to
accomplish the feat. Currently she needs 27 rebounds to become just the
fourth player in program history to record 700 points and 700 rebounds in
her career. Her impact is felt on the USF career record books where she
ranks 12th in scoring with 1,038 points, 10th in rebounding with 673 boards
and third in blocked shots with 124. She propelled USF to a tremendous upset
victory against defending Pac-10 Champions #18 Oregon, exploding for a
career-high 26 points and five offensive rebounds to go along with three
assists and two blocked shots. Last season she led the West Coast Conference
in field goal percentage, connecting at a .571 clip from the floor. A member
of the 1998 All-WCC First Team and a two-time member of the WCC's
All-Academic Team, boasting a 3.98 grade point average in English, she also
earned conference player of the week honors twice in her career.
