No stranger to success in the West Coast Conference, Marta Menuez begins her fourth season of collegiate coaching at USF, third under head coach Tanya Haave. Menuez works in all facets of the program, with a special emphasis on scouting and recruiting. In addition, Menuez serves as the team's academic coordinator and the team has received a 3.0 or above the last three years. On the court, Menuez trains the post players. Menuez enjoyed a successful career at the University of San Diego, earning 2004 All-WCC First Team honors, averaging 15.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game during her standout senior campaign. For her efforts, Menuez was named USD's Senior Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 2004. Menuez left San Diego as the second leading scorer in program history with 1,233 career points and 614 rebounds. After graduating with a degree in Sociology/Anthropology, Menuez played professionally for TSV Viernhiem in Germany. A highly decorated prep player at El Molino High School, Menuez was named All-Empire Co- Player of the Year, First Team All-League, All-State, League MVP and Scholar Athlete in her senior campaign and led her team to back-to-back league titles as a junior and senior. Menuez graduated in May 2007 with her Master's Degree in Sports Management at USF.
