At Boston College (2003-2004): Played in 29 games, including 13 Big East games... averaged 1.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game... posted a season-high seven points against Saint John's (2/25/04)... pulled down a career-high seven rebounds against Liberty (12/6/03)... a Big East Academic All-Star. AT BOSTON COLLEGE (2002-2003): Played in eight games as a freshman for the Eagles. PREP CAREER: Four-year letter-winner at Marin Catholic High School... averaged 13.0 points and 10.0 rebounds as a senior... won a Division 4 state championship as a senior... three-time all-league and all-metro player... nominated for the McDonald's High School All-America team... two-time winner of the team's coaches award... team's captain during her senior year... earned the team's Best Defense Award as a junior... also a second team all-league player in volleyball... graduated high school with academic distinction... recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award...A high honor roll student... four-time member of the California Scholarship Federation...four-year Dean's List student. STRAIGHT FROM THE USF COACHING STAFF: Nickie is going to be an outstanding player at USF. Nickie is versatile and can play the small forward and big forward positions for us. She has a great understanding of the game. Her instincts for the game make her an invaluable addition to our team. It is great to have Nickie in our program.
