Shay Rollins led the Dons (2-5 overall) in the contest with the Beavers (4-1 overall) thanks to game-high 20 points, including four 3-pointers.

Oregon State took the lead out of the gate and never looked back, leading the entire 40 minutes. The Beavers took a 40-28 lead into the locker room at halftime, before coming out of the break on a tear, extending their lead to 23 points at the eight minute mark. San Francisco shot at a .328 clip on the evening, scoring just 14 points in the paint, while Oregon State posted a .328 shooting percentage and 46 points in the paint.

Rollins paced the Dons with 20 points with three rebounds, four assists and three steals. Joining the senior guard in double-figures was senior center Necolia Simmons with 19 points, falling just short of a double-double with a game-high nine rebounds.

Freshman guard Rheina Ale continued her scoring for the Dons with 12 points, seven of which came from the charity stripe. Ale also posted a trio of rebounds and an assist. Freshman forward Katy Keating recorded seven points off the bench for USF, with two boards, an assist and a block. The lone remaining San Francisco player to score was junior guard Danesha Wright, who was a perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw line.

Oregon State was led by four players with double-figure scoring, including Alex Mitchell and Brittney Davis with 16 points each. Kassandra McCalister added a dozen points for the Beavers, hitting 6-of-7 from the field in just seven minutes of action.
