USF athletics is hosting a special women's basketball alumni event Saturday, February 23 with a day long celebration of the program's past, present and future. Second-year head coach Tanya Haave welcomes all who represented the Green and Gold back to what should be an exciting day on the Hilltop. Coach Haave's invitation runs below. SPECIAL FRIENDS...GREAT MEMORIES... THE USF WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FAMILY! I am honored to have the privilege of writing to you as the Head Coach of the USF Women's Basketball program. I'd like to invite you back...to the place where it all started...where you grew up...made special friends...great memories that will last a lifetime...the place where you made a huge impact as a member of our USF Women's Basketball Family! I am planning a special USF Women's Basketball Alumni Appreciation Day on Saturday, February 23rd when we host our biggest rival, Santa Clara, in our last home conference game of the season. I am working with Greg Sempadian, our Director of Athletic Development, and we have planned a very exciting and special day for all of you. The schedule is listed below. I have enclosed an invitation for a day that promises to be filled with many more memories on the Hilltop for all of you! We'd like to invite back all USF Women's Basketball Alumni and Staff. ALUMNI APPRECIATION DAY SPECIAL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: USF Women's Basketball is about tradition and family and I want this event to be a special one for you and your family as we start a very important tradition on the Hilltop. I want our program to be one that you will always be proud of and one that challenges every year for a conference championship! This has been a very exciting season so far for our team! We are currently in third place in the West Coast Conference. We have a team that you will be very proud of and one that I know is going to challenge for the West Coast Conference Tournament Championship this season!
