Dons Sink Danish National Team 74-56

(Copenhagen, Denmark) - The USF women's basketball team shut down the Danish National Team Monday, defeating Denmark 74-56 in Copenhagen. The game was the fourth of the Dons' trip to Scandinavia in which they have posted a 2-2 record with one game remaining.
Nnenna Okereke led the Dons in the contest with a 10 point, 10 rebound, double-double effort. The junior also dished out three assists and a steal. Okereke was one of five USF squad members to score in double-digits. The crew was led by Shay Rollins who posted a game-high 20 points. Junior Donnisha Taylor added 15 points, while freshman Vania Singleterry added 11. Okereke and Rheina Ale rounded out the Dons' top scorers with 10 each.
Okereke also led the Green and Gold with 10 rebounds, while Taylor added seven.
San Francisco and Denmark will meet again Tuesday evening as the Dons wrap up their 11-day European tour. The two teams will tip off in Copenhagen at 8 p.m.
