Today is our last day our here, which is really sad because it has been such an amazing trip and experience for all of us.

We have another game tonight but have had the whole morning to explore the city of Copenhagen. Some of the group went on a tour of the Round Tower - which meant we climbed up the long spiral ramp around the tower and saw the amazing view of the city below. Then a few of us went on a boat tour of the canals around the city. This was really relaxing because it was such a beautiful day and so much of the city can be seen by boat.

We started our tour at the end of the long walking street and went by the new Opera House, the Royal Danish Naval Museum, the Royal Library, and saw the Little Mermaid statue again, this time by boat. We also saw the new substitute state of the Little Mermaid because she will be going to Shanghai soon for nine months. We also saw a man-made island that was built for the royal navy. All of the old warehouses and buildings that used to repair torpedo ships are now renovated and are some of the nicest apartments and office buildings in the city. At the end of the tour, we floated by the old apartment of the famous fairy tale writer, Hans Christian Anderson.

We are about to depart for our game - Go Dons!

Well, the trip has come to an end. All that's left is a long day of traveling back to SFO. Our day was pretty much free to do what we please. Some of us took the morning to visit the Round Tower - an outlook point for the city. The tower was built over 500 years ago and it order to reach the top, you scaled the circular ramp inside the tower. After 7.5 trips around the ramp, you reach the peak, where the views were amazing.

Following the tower, some of the coaches and I took a boat cruise through the city. The weather was perfect for it and it was a nice way to snap some last minute pictures of Copenhagen.

After the boat, and a quick ice cream stop, we all did some power shopping. I will admit, I ended buying more for myself than I did for anyone else, but regardless, I didn't do too much damage.

After a quick pre-game team meal down the street from our hotel, it was time for the second game against Denmark. The Danish team used different players than yesterday and we were forewarned that it would be a tougher game, but...the Dons responded, playing tough and came out on top. I will have photos of the game posted within a day or two. They are still on Evan's, the strength and conditioning coach, camera and I haven't been able to grab them from him yet. Hopefully there will be internet at the Newark airport during our 5 hour layover. I can post them then. Make sure to check back for those and the rest of the pictures from today.

I would create a photo gallery tonight but I think our 6 a.m. departure time may come early...especially since I haven't exactly repacked my suitcase yet. Tomorrow we will leave Copenhagen at 9 a.m., take an eight hour flight to Newark before a five hour layover before our seven hour flight back to SFO. Needless to say, a long day is ahead of us.

The trip has been an amazing opportunity for all involved and many of us leave Europe with priceless memories. On the same hand, most of us are ready to go home and sleep in our own beds.

Our coverage of the trip hasn't concluded yet. In the coming week, I will post a series of reflection blogs from the USF staff that accompanied the team, as well as a review Q & A session with Coach Haave. In addition, I think I may post a photo gallery with the "Best-of the Viking Voyage".

I will leave you with one more Danish fact - the Dannenborg, or Danish flag, is the oldest unchanged flag in the world.

Make sure to continue to check back and read the follow up blogs, I guarantee you the staff has some stories and thoughts that you won't want to miss.

Thanks for following us on our voyage.
