San Francisco shook off some rust early before rolling to a 77-40 victory against San Francisco State Wednesday in War Memorial Gym. Junior forward Cortney Keegan came off the bench to pour in a career-high 15 points and added eight rebounds, five assists and three steals in 21 minutes in her best outing of the season.

In the first half, USF (3-4) was cold from the field converting on 12-32 (.375) but turned it up in the second scoring at a .560 (14-25) pace. Then Lady Dons' pressing defense forced 26 Gators (3-3) miscues and SFSU converted on just 15-57 (.263) for the game.

A season-high four players posted double-digit scoring performances and all of them came off the Lady Dons' suddenly resurgent bench. Keegan led the way, followed by junior forward Rachel Mahar scored 12 points, and junior guard, Nicole Raleigh and freshman forward Carey Sauer chipped in 10 points a piece as the USF bench accounted for 56 points. Sophomore guard Lindsey Huff dished out six assists and picked up two steals. USF also shot extremely well from long distance, converting on .500 of their shots from downtown (7-14) led by Keegan and Raleigh who were 2-2.

USF plays Western Michigan Sunday at War Memorial Gym with tip-off scheduled for 2 PM.
