No. 25 Oregon Defeats San Francisco 92-65
EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - Angelina Wolvert scored 21 points as No. 25 Oregon beat San Francisco 92-65 on Saturday night.
Kourtney Shreve scored 15 points and Jamie Craighead added 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Ducks (6-3), who never trailed and led by as many as 30 in the second half. Reserve Molly Shanley scored 14 points and Alicia Hernandez added for San Francisco (5-5). Oregon built a 43-23 lead by halftime, even though starting center and leading rebounder Jenny Mowe picked up her fourth foul with 10:23 left and sat out the rest of the first half. The absence of Mowe's power was made up by athletic play around the basket from forward Ndidi Unaka and center Alyssa Fredrick, who combined for 15 points. Oregon then shot 64 percent in the second half and easily held off the Dons. |
