Kristi Larsen Named West Coast Conference Player of the Month

USF senior women's golfer Kristi Larsen capped an exceptional start to the 2004 Spring Season earning West Coast Conference Player of the Month honors for March. During the month, the Sacramento native produced a stroke average of 74.5 in six rounds. Larsen broke through for her second medalist honor of the season by winning the UC Irvine Anteater Invitational in Coto de Caza, Calif. It was the third career individual title for the transfer out of New Mexico State.
Larsen led the Lady Dons to three sub-300 rounds and shot an even-par 216 to claim medalist honors at the Anteater. For her outstanding performances, Larsen was also named Golf Digestıs National Player of the Week. Larsen continues to be ranked in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings as the #61 ranked individual in the latest rankings.
Larsen and the Lady Dons compete at the 2004 BYU Dixie Classic, beginning Monday, April 5 in St. George, UT.
