USF Women’s Golf Place Two on All-West Coast Conference Team
After posting a runner-up showing in the 2012 West Coast Conference Championships, San Francisco had two selected for All-WCC honors as announced today by the league office. Freshman Michelle Condry captured first team honors for the Dons, while junior Eyglo Oskarsdottir was an honorable mention pick.

San Francisco Women’s Golf Posts Runner-Up Showing at 2012 WCC Championship
San Francisco women’s golf surged on the final day and vaulted into a runner-up finish in the 2012 West Coast Conference Championship Wednesday on the San Juan Oaks Golf Club. The Dons challenged No. 20 Pepperdine during the closing holes but could not come all the way back on the challenging par-72 course playing at 6,116 yards.

San Francisco women’s golf struggled in the second round of the 2012 West Coast Conference Championships and enters the final 18 holes in third place on the San Juan Oaks Golf Club. The Dons played solid golf on the back nine, but could not overcome difficulties on the front nine on the challenging par-72 course playing at 6,116 yards.

USF Women's Golf Ready To Tee It Up At 2012 WCC Championship
The University of San Francisco women’s golf team will compete in the 2012 West Coast Conference Championship starting on Monday, April 16 at San Juan Oaks Golf Club in Hollister, Calif. The golfers will play 18 holes each day of the three-day tournament, differing from last year’s two-day tournament that entailed 36 holes on the final day.

The San Francisco women's golf team kicks off the 2012 season this weekend when it travels south to compete in the 2012 Peg Barnard Invitational hosted by Stanford University. The 12-team field will play two 18-hole rounds on the par-71, 6,100-yard Stanford Golf Course -- one on Saturday, February 18, and one on Sunday the 19th.

San Francisco women’s golf shot the lowest round of the tournament Tuesday and captured the team title at the 2011 Wolf Pack Classic at the Dayton Valley Golf Club. Round two was canceled due to heavy winds and the Dons made up a three-stroke deficit over the last 18 holes for the program’s first win since taking the 2008 Oregon Duck Invitational.

Eyglo Oskarsdottir Commits to USF Women’s Golf for 2011-12 Season
USF women’s golf has added Eyglo Oskarsdottir (Gardbaer, Iceland) for the 2011-12 season as announced today by head coach Sarah Huarte. An accomplished amateur player with international experience, Oskarsdottir spent the first two seasons of her collegiate career at perennial national power Oklahoma State.
