GENERAL CAPSULE: Accomplished golfer... should make an instant contribution... adds NCAA Championship experience to the team.

AT USF (2001-2002): Enjoyed a productive season for the Lady Dons... top finish at the West Coast Conference Tournament, sharing ninth place and earned All-WCC Honorable Mention selection... turned in 19 rounds in the 70's and owned a stroke average of 78.0... fired two two-over 74's during the season.

AT USF (2000-2001): Showed flashes of brilliance before being hampered by back injury in her first season on the Hilltop... placed third as an individual at the Northern Arizona Lumberjack Invitational (77, 73 - 150)... carded five rounds in the 70's for USF during the fall season and competed in just one event in the spring.

ROLLINS COLLEGE (1999-2000): Competed in the 2000 NCAA Division II Championship and posted a 312 (75, 77, 76, 84) runner-up finish... posted two top-10 finishes during freshman season... 80.1 stroke average.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Represented Scotland in 1999 Girl's Home International (along with current Lady Don Susie Laing)... also competed as an individual.

PREP CAREER: Played for six years on the boy's team at Peterhead Academy... served as team captain in 1997 and 1998... competed as number one in 1998; number two in 1997.

PERSONAL: Lyndsey Devenish... biggest sports thrill was representing Scotland in the 1999 Home Internationals... goal for the season is to play a major role on the team... chose USF for the location and the quality of the golf team... favorite quote is by Helen Keller, "The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, nor touched... but are felt in the heart"... parents are Ian and Lorraine Devenish... born February 19, 1982 in Aberdeen, Scotland.
