GENERAL CAPSULE: Kristi Larsen enters her first season at USF after transferring from New Mexico where she competed for the Lobos for three seasons.

AS A JUNIOR (2002-03): Competed in four tournaments while battling injuries... finished with a season stroke average of 74.0... captured first medalist honors of her career at the 2003 Las Vegas Founders Women's Intercollegiate and established career-lows, carding a one-under 215 and a season low round of 69... earned the Leslie Self Inspirational Award - presented to UNM female student-athletes on an annual basis based on leadership, character, determination and commitment to team.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2001-02): Major contributor as a sophomore for New Mexico... shattered a 20-year old UNM sophomore stroke record previously held by Sue Sanders (1981-82) of 76.2, finishing with a season stroke average of 74.9, tied for the team lead... represented UNM and the Mountain West Conference at the 2002 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship, qualifying as an individual with her eighth place finish at the NCAA West Regional... finished tied for 60th at nationals... was one of only 25 women's collegiate golfers to have scored a hole in one (par 3, 155 yard 17th hole at the NCAA West Regional held in Stanford, Calif.)... was named to the MWC All-Conference team for the second straight year... carded a career low 68 in the first round of the 2002 MWC Championships and finished tied for second... finished ranked No. 79 nationally, with over 800 golfers listed.

AS A FRESHMAN (2000-01): Larsen was one of three Lobos named to the 2001 MWC All-Conference team... finished with a 76.6 stroke average (third best on the team)... best finish was a tie for ninth at the Rainbow Wahine Golf Classic... best tournament scored at the UCLA Bruin Classic where she finished with a 224... season low round of 72 scored twice (Rainbow Wahine and the Ping/ASU Invite).

PREP CAREER: Four-year letter-winner in golf at Chaparral High School... two-time Arizona state high school individual champion (1999 & 2000)... team was state champions her senior year... three-time team most valuable player... named first team all-city and all-state three-years running (1998-2000)... named the Scottsdale Tribune Female Golfer of the Year in '99 and '00... was on the Honor Roll... played her freshman year at Albuquerque's Cibola High School... extensive junior experience including qualifiying for the 1999 Women's Amateur... took tournament medalist honors at the AJGA Kansas City Championship in the summer of 2000... finished in sixth place at the '99 Arizona Silverbelle tournament and placed second in 2000... placed in the top five in the 2000 AJGA Arizona Junior Classic... tallied seven top-10 AJGA finishes including the Lucent Technology Girls Championship.
