(Fresno) - USF women's golf shot an opening round 302, good for sixth place in the 2008 Kitahara Fresno State Invitational at the Copper River Country Club. The Dons head into final round action in the 36-hole event on the par-72 course playing at 6,072 yards on Tuesday.

San Francisco enter the final 18 holes just one shot out of fourth place, shared by UC Davis and Hawaii at 301. Kansas owns the lead at 295, followed by Tulsa and the host Bulldogs at 299.

Sophomore Natasha Podmore owns a share of third place on the leader board after firing an even-par 72, highlighted by three birdies, two coming on the back nine. Sophomore Danielle Cvitanov is in a logjam in sixth place at 73 and recorded a pair of birdies to go along with a team-high 14 pars.
