USF Women's Golf in Third Place at the 2005 Donnis Thompson Invitational

(Kaneohe, HI) - USF shot a 668 (325, 343) and own third place after tow rounds of the 2005 Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational hosted by Hawaii at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course Tuesday. The conditions were very difficult and the scores during the first two rounds reflect this.
Washington State shot a 349 (310, 339) and owns a commanding lead against runner-up Hawaii at 665 (340, 325). USF is poised to make a final round run, jut three strokes behind the Wahine at 668).
Senior Mariko Shimozaki is in fourth place at 160 (78, 82), while freshman Jessica Potter shares fifth place at 163 (78, 85).
Final round of the tournament will begin with a 7:30 AM shotgun start.
