(Santa Clanta, CA) - USF women's golf rebounded in the final round of the 2003 Pioneer Electronic Bruin Classic with a round of 313 after struggling mightily in the second round, securing a 15th place finish at Robinson Ranch Golf Course. Sophomore All-American candidate Mariko Shimozaki fired a final round 72 for a three day total of 227 (73, 82, 72). San Francisco shot a 954 (311, 330, 313) in the 54-hole event.

Freshman Nikki Jacoby shot her best round of the tournament with a 78, joining Shimozaki as the only Lady Dons to shoot in the 70's.

San Francisco returns to action when they compete at the 2003 BYU Dixie Classic, April 7-8 at the Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, UT.
