USF Women's Golf Tied for 11th in 2008 NCAA West Regional Preview

(Sacramento) - USF women's golf shares 11th place with 18 holes remaining at the 2008 NCAA West Regional Preview, hosted by Sacramento State at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club. The Dons shot 613 (304, 309) Monday on the par-72 course playing at 6,018 yards.

No. 12 Denver leads the field at 578 (288, 290). Washington State is second at 590 (297, 293) and is followed by Oregon 592 (300, 292), UNLV 597 (301, 296), UC Irvine 598 (299, 299) and Fresno State 598 (305, 293) complete the top five.

Individually, WSU's Amy Eneroth holds a 4-stroke lead. Eneroth opened with a round of 71 then blistered the course in the afternoon for a tournament low 68.
