(Lincoln, CA) -- USF women's golf finished with a 307 in the final round of the 2008 NCAA West Regional Preview hosted by Sacramento State, Tuesday afternoon at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club. The Dons finished 12th overall in the event with a 54-hole tally of 920 (304, 309, 307). No. 12 Denver lived up to its billing as the top ranked team in the field and cruised to a team title at the NCAA West Regional Preview. The Pioneers maintained their first-day advantage and ended the three-round event at 876 (288, 290, 298). Their score was just 12-over par and was 24 strokes better than second place Oregon at 900 (300, 292, 308). Fresno State finished third at 904 (305, 293, 306) while UC Davis (300,299,306) and UNLV (301, 296, 308) tied for fourth with 905. Sacramento State tied for 14th place overall with scores of 307-308-315-930. Sophomore Danielle Cvitanov fired a one-under 71 for the Dons in final round action and shared 15th place at 223 (76, 76, 71). Washington State's Amy Eneroth hung on to become the medalist by one stroke. Eneroth dominated the course on Monday, shooting 71 and 68 but was tested on Tuesday en route to a 77. San Francisco looks to rebound when it competes in the 2008 Ping ASU Invitational. The three day event begins Friday, April 4 at the ASU Karsten Golf Course in Tempe.
