USF Women Shoot 310 in Opening Round of 2008 PING ASU Invitational

(Tempe) - USF women's golf shot an opening round 310 Friday at the 2008 PING ASU Invitational at the ASU Karsten Golf Course. The Dons enter Saturday's second round in a share of 15th place with Washington.

USC owns the lead heading into round two at seven-under 281, followed by the host Sun Devils at even-par 288. Georgia is third at one-over 289, Oklahoma State is fourth at 292 and Texas A&M rounds out the top-five at 293.

Senior Jessica Potter led the Dons with a 75, while sophomore Danielle Cvitanov added a 76.
