USF Women Shoot 311 in Final Round of 2004 NCAA West Regional

(Palo Alto, CA) - USF women's golf shot a final round 311 in the 2004 NCAA West Regional at Stanford, finishing 17th. The Lady Dons, competing in their fourth consecutive NCAA regional, shot a 932 (308, 313, 311) for the tournament.
Senior Kristi Larsen paced San Francisco with a one-over 73, highlighted by five birdies, in her final collegiate round - the lowest score recorded by any USF player at the tournament. Larsen tied for 30th with a 225 (76, 76, 73), to pace the Lady Dons on the leader board.
Junior Mariko Shimozaki shot a 76 in the final round and finished at 232 (76, 80, 76).
