(Sammamish, WA) – USF women’s golf shot a 313 on day two of the 2009 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational Tuesday at Sahalee Country Club and enter the final round in fourth place, five shots out of second place. The Dons sit one stroke behind perennial West Coast Conference power No. 8 Pepperdine with 18 holes remaining on the par-72 course playing at 6,136 yards.

Senior Natasha Podmore leads the Dons in a share of third place at 148 (72, 76), while senior Danielle Cvitanov vaulted into the top-10 at 150 (76, 74). Senior Christina Stockton also cracked the top-15 with a 154 (73, 81). Cvitanov, the reigning WCC Player of the Year carded two of the Dons three birdies in the second round.

No. 13 California leads the event at 599 (296, 303) followed by No. 24 Stanford at 609 (308, 301), four shots in front of the Waves (311, 302). The Dons are next at 614 (301, 313), six shots in front of Bay Area rival San Jose State at 620 (309, 311).

San Francisco returns to final round action Wednesday in the Pacific Northwest. Tee times start at 8:00 AM and live scoring is available courtesy of Golfstat.com. Live scoring can be accessed via the USFDons.com events menu.
