Complete Day Two Results in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

(Sammamish, WA) - USF women's golf fired the lowest round in the field with a 298 in round two of the 2008 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational Tuesday at the Sahalee Country Club. The Dons vaulted from 11th place after the first 18 holes to a share of fifth place, currently sitting at 619 (321, 298).

Stanford leads the tournament at 606, two strokes in front of Oregon at 608. The Cardinal and the Ducks are well out in front of the rest of the pack as Oregon State and California are tied for third place at 618, one stroke in front of the Dons and Long Beach State, which also enters the final round at 619 (316, 303).

Juniors Danielle Cvitanov and Diana Hong led the charge for San Francisco with 73, while junior Natasha Podmore shot 75. Cvitanov enters the final round in a share of eighth place at 152 (79, 73), while Podmore shares 20th at 154 (79, 75).

San Francisco looks to continue to climb the leader board in final round action Wednesday at Sahalee. USF will tee off on the first tee, beginning at 8:00 AM.
