USF Women's Golf Shares Second after Second Round of Kent Youel Invitational

(Honolulu, HI) - USF women's golf shot a second round 310 at the 2006 Kent Youel Invitational, hosted by Hawaii at the Kapolei Golf Course. The Dons, who entered the second round leading the pack, moved down to share second place at 607 (297, 310), two strokes behind the current leader and host Hawaii.

Junior Jessica Potter still leads the Dons at 150 (71, 79), good for a share of seventh place and senior Eloise Vicencio follows closely behind tied for 14th place at 153 (73, 80).

Fellow freshmen Christina Stockton and Natasha Podmore each carded a 76, the lowest second round score for the Dons. Stockton jumped into 20th place at 154 (78, 76), which she shares with teammate Chaneng Joe (75, 79).

After carding a three-over 291 in the second round, the Rainbow Wahine lead the pack at 605 (314, 291). UC Irvine shares second place at 607 (308, 299) with the Dons and Southern Methodist follows closely behind in fourth place at 611 (305, 306). Long Beach State rounds out the top five at 615 (307, 308). SMU's Lacey Jones still holds the individual lead at 144 (70, 74).
