(Kiawah Island, SC) - USF women's golf shot finished moved up five spots on the final day to finish eighth in the 2005 Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate, hosted by the College of Charleston Tuesday at Oak Point Golf Course in Kiawah Island, S.C. The Dons shot 934 (316, 308, 310) in their first tournament on the East Coast and final event of the Fall Season. Idaho won the title with a 912 (309, 305, 298), followed by the College of Charleston at 913 (312, 297, 304). Maryland finished fourth at 919 (310, 304, 305), one shot in front of Campbell at 920 (301, 306, 313) to round out the top-five. Renee Skidmore won the tournament as the Vandal carded a four-over 220. USF sophomore Jessica Potter once again led the way for the Dons and carded a one-under 71 in round two. Potter was the top finisher for San Francisco at 225 (76, 71, 78), good for a share of sixth place.
