The USF women's golf team is in first place, three strokes ahead of second place Washington State, after two rounds of the Duck Invitational, which is being held at Shadow Hills Country Club in Junction City, Oregon.

The Dons, who finished seventh in this event last year, are led by junior Jessica Potter and senior Kristin Nichols. Potter and Nichols both currently sit in the first and second positions of the overall standings. Potter has a two round score of 148 (71, 77), with Nichols only one shot back after posting a 149 (73,76).

Potter, who won the Duck Invitational last year, will look to hold her top spot and defend her title in the final round on Tuesday.
