(San Francisco) - USF women's golf earned their third consecutive NCAA Regional berth, as announced by the NCAA Monday. The Lady Dons earned the #11 seed in the West Regional, which will be played May 8-10 at Karsten Golf Course, Tempe, Arizona, hosted by Arizona State University.

Regional tournaments are considered preliminary rounds of NCAA championships competition, and all national championships policies will apply. Eight teams and two individuals will advance from each of the three NCAA regional sites.

The championships finals will be May 20-23, held at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex, West Lafayette, Indiana, hosted by Purdue University.

San Francisco earned their first berth in the NCAA Regionals in 2001, competing in the Central Regional at Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex, hosted by Purdue. Last season, the Lady Dons competed in the West Regional at the Stanford Golf Course and finished ninth in the field, falling six strokes shy of advancing to the first nationals berth in program history.

Four-time All-West Coast Conference First Team selection Susie Laing leads USF into battle, along with two-time All-WCC First Team selections, senior Lisa Chen and sophomore Mariko Shimozaki. Senior Lyndsey Devenish and junior Jordan Auten round out the squad for USF head coach Sara Range.
