Sept. 17, 2001

USF women's golf returns to action today when they compete in the 2001 Southern California Intercollegiate at the PGA Southern California Course in Oak Valley. The Lady Dons will play 36 holes on both Monday and Tuesday in the event hosted by Long Beach State and UC Riverside.

This tournament marks the first time San Francisco will square off against West Coast Conference rival #11 Pepperdine since upsetting the Waves in the 2001 WCC Championships. UC Irvine, Portland State, Cal State Northridge, Cal Poly and Portland round out the nine-team tournament field.
